59th European Marine Biology Symposium

The 59th European Marine Biology Symposium (EMBS) will take place on 7–10 July 2026 in Peniche, Portugal, hosted by the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (ESTM), Polytechnic of Leiria, together with MARE – Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre. The symposium will be held at ESTM, a coastal campus in Peniche with views over the Berlengas Archipelago (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). ESTM offers modern facilities for scientific meetings—including auditoriums, amphitheatres and classrooms—alongside dedicated logistical support.
